v0.0.2 - Prototype Complete


This release completes the Prototype version of “Never Enough A’s”!!

GENERAL NOTES

There are a number of UI/UX improvements (such as the ability to control volume of sound effects and music separately), a new type of enemy, several new weapons, and a brand new mechanic to select upgrades over time. More details below. Over the next couple months I’ll decide whether to devote the energy to push this game into its final form as a Complete Game. Expect an update either way in May.

CHANGE LOG

  • New Weapon: Mines (prepared over time, dropped by player, destroy all enemies in range when triggered)
  • New Weapon: Lasers (charged over time, player can lock/unlock, rapid fires nearest enemies when unlocked)
  • Health Drops: Enemies sometimes leave behind small green orbs that the player can collect for health
  • Upgrades: When player collects an A, can choose between up to three upgrades
  • New Enemies: Blue Aliens - comes in waves and moves much faster than Yellow Aliens
  • Most importantly: Added even more A’s!
